Originally and English condiment, ketchup started off as a mushroom based sauce. Tomato based ketchups where first created in America in the early 1800’s using tomatoes and anchovies. By the mid 1850’s anchovies were dropped. Modern ketchup as we know it in America was first introduced by Henry J. Heinz, who introduced a version using alternative preservatives after the U.S. Food and Drug Administration banned the use of benzoate.

- 12 oz Cento Tomato Paste
- 1/4 cup Nature’s Hollow Sugar Free Honey
- 1/2 cup White Vinegar
- 5 tsp Onion Powder
- 1/2 tsp Garlic Powder
- 1 tsp Himalayan Pink Salt

- Combine all ingredients in a mixing bowl and whisk until well combined.
