Nothing beats a great slice of pizza, unless its a slice of pizza that’s completely keto friendly. We’ve taken it one step further with a thick, delicious crust that will completely blow your mind. These little wonders can be made for each member of your household with the items they like, so everyone wins!
Bon Appe Keto Thick Crust Pizza
Cut Parchment Paper to fit 7” Mini Pizza Pie Pans, or cover a baking sheet with parchment paper.
Shred mozzarella cheese. Place mozzarella cheese and cream cheese in microwave safe mixing bowl. Microwave on high for 60 seconds. Give it a mix and microwave for an additional 1 minute.
Remove bowl from microwave and add in Almond Flour, Baking Powder, Salt, Garlic Powder, and Italian Seasoning. Mix until well combined.
Stir in eggs, and using a fork, continue mixing until dough absorbs all of the egg. This may take up to 2 minutes.
Set dough aside for 3 minutes to rest.
Divide dough into two equal balls (about 210g each) and place each dough ball onto one of the mini pizza trays, or on the baking sheet and press into a 6” round pizza crust. It may help to use a separate piece of parchment paper to press out the crust as the dough is a bit sticky.
The center of the crust will be a little puffy in the middle. Take your fork and pierce the center of the crust and gently press down to slightly depress the center.
Top each crust with ¼ cup of Rao’s Pizza Sauce, 1/3 cup shredded mozzarella and any other toppings you’d like.
Put the pizzas back in the over for 5 minutes or until cheese is melted.
Add what ever keto friendly ingredients you like for the perfect pizza. My son loves his with Bacon, Green Peppers and Onions.
