Few things compliment a steak like well prepared mushrooms. This stuffed mushroom recipe is one of our favorites combining several cheeses and a little bacon. The mushrooms pop with flavor!
Bone Appe Keto Cheesy Bacon Stuffed Mushrooms
- 16 oz Baby Bella Mushrooms
- 2 Tbsp Bacon Grease (from bacon used for topping)
- 1 Tbsp Garlic - minced
- 8 oz Cream Cheese - softened
- 3 stalks Green Onions
- 1/4 cup Parmesan cheese
- 1/2 tsp Ground Pepper
- 1/2 tsp Onion Powder
- 1/2 tsp Garlic Powder
- 3 strps Bacon - crisp &chopped for topping
- 2 Tbsp Parmesan cheese - grated for topping
- Avocado Oil Spray
Line baking sheet with aluminum foil and spray with Avocado Oil.
Clean mushrooms and separate stems and caps.
Cut off the fibrous end of the stem and discard. Then finely mince the stems.
Cut off the green ends and the root threads of the onion and mince the bulbs.
Fry Bacon and remove bacon from frying pan to cool.
In the same frying pan, with the bacon grease, add the minced mushroom stems, onion and garlic over medium heat. Set aside to cool for 5 minutes.
Add the softened cream cheese to the mixture in the frying pan and stir until well combined.
